Stewardship is:
1.
Gospel-powered
Stewards respond to God’s love for us in Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit empowers stewards to serve and share as
they are motivated by God’s Word.
2.
Taught
Having discovered their spiritual gifts and instructed
in the opportunities in the local church and beyond,
stewards respond joyously and generously.
3.
Intentional
Stewardship is planned and progressive. Stewardship is
not accidental or incidental.
4.
Connected
Stewards are connected to worship and fellowship life of
the church. Stewardship is not isolated or separated
from other areas of faith response.
5.
All-encompassing
Stewards recognize that everything they are and have is
a gift from God and that Christian stewardship takes
place in all of life’s arenas. |
